KUCHING — The EMPOWERED Ministry orchestrated a thrilling and unforgettable Game Night on Friday, 5th May which took place at St. James’ Room. Drawing an enthusiastic crowd of over 20 youths, the event pulsated with energy and excitement. The primary aim of the Game Night was to foster a sense of unity and collaboration among the participants, who showcased their unique talents and strengths. Through a series of engaging games and challenges, the youths embarked on a journey of fun and camaraderie.
To kick off the evening, the attendees were divided into three spirited teams, setting the stage for an exhilarating display of friendly competition. Laughter and cheers filled the room as the games commenced, each one designed to tap into their creativity, knowledge, and teamwork. The diverse category of games included the ever-popular ‘Guess the Song,’ where participants tested their music expertise, swiftly identifying melodies and artists. ‘Guess the Celebrity’ was another category, putting their pop culture knowledge to the test as they deciphered famous faces from pictures and clues. Additionally, ‘Guess the Logo’ challenged their visual acuity and brand recognition skills, adding an element of intrigue and friendly rivalry. Further enriching the evening was a captivating quiz that delved into understanding the Catholic Church and Christianity. This segment not only tested their knowledge but also sparked intriguing discussions and insights into their faith, further strengthening their bonds as a community.
