TERAWI — “Alleluia! Alleluia! Christ is risen from the death, He has risen to die no more”, the hymn was sung joyfully on Saturday Easter Vigil, Apr 8, at Holy Nativity Church Terawi, when 27 RCIA catechumens were baptised into the Catholic faith by parish priest, Fr Michael Modoit.
The people welcomed and rejoiced over the newly-baptised when they received the three Sacrament of Initiation; Baptism, First Holy Communion and Confirmation.
Meanwhile the parish had one catechumen who received the Sacrament of Baptism, three catechumens received Sacrament of Baptism and First Holy Communion, two catechumens received the Sacrament of Confirmation and six catechumens received the Sacrament of First Holy Communion and Confirmation. They are now disciples of Christ Jesus.
