Malaysia and the Holy See can work together in areas where the concept of peaceful coexistence is important, said Foreign Minister Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah.

The outgoing Apostolic Nuncio to Malaysia, Archbishop Joseph Marino, used the scriptural readings of the Thirty Second Sunday in Ordinary Time to urge a counsel of faith, fortitude, joy and hope at his final Eucharistic celebration at the St John’s Cathedral in Kuala Lumpur Nov 9.

“We must continue the missionary spirit in Malaysia; the great evangelisation of faith from the past to present, in line with the Gospel values of giving what we have received,” said Archbishop Joseph Marino at the Assumption Church’s Feastday celebrations August 14.
