KUCHING — Since its establishment five years ago, St Joseph’s International School has had its share of both struggles and success to make it through till today.

In tandem with the Marist humility and faith, the graduation was celebrated with a simple reminder that glory is only possible with collective effort and collaborative perseverance.

25 November 2022 marked the fifth anniversary of the school and was a significant milestone for the graduates.

Archbishop Simon Poh in his speech, urged students to dream big.

The ceremony was preceded by Mass celebrated by Archbishop Simon Poh, who blessed the school leavers with abundant strength, good health and stoic determination.

In his message to all, CEO Mr Christopher Chua mentioned that graduating is not the end, but the beginning of a new and exciting journey. Principal, Br Robert Teoh continued by wishing all graduates courage and perseverance to overcome the hurdles ahead.

The ceremony kicked off with the graduates parading up the stage to receive blessings from Br principal. Following this was a plethora of engaging and impressive performances to showcase talents of the students.

The memorable event wrapped up with the graduates receiving their hard-earned certificates, much to their utmost joy.

It was indeed a proud moment for both students and parents, and an inspiration for the juniors. Needless to say, the graduates imbued with Marist values and armed with learning experience, will carry with them indelible memories as they move forward to the next phase of their life.

Last but not least, the management expressed its gratitude to the sponsors of door gifts and flowers- MMS, IDP, GES Global, Eduquest, Raven, UCSI, AUG and to Swinburne University of Technology for sponsoring the extension of the stage. It is hoped that their continuous support is in the pipeline for years to come.
