KUCHING — The annual Kuching City Christmas Parade was organised by the Association of Churches Sarawak (ACS) and the Sarawak Evangelical Christian Association (SECA) and hosted by the Methodist Church SCAC last year on Saturday, 7 December 2024.
Notably, for the first time in its history, the Roman Catholic Church led the Singspiration Team, singing carols and praising God at the grandstand as the parade contingents departed from the gathering point within Jubilee Ground.
The team was led by Julian Gabriel and Emmanuel Foong from the St Joseph’s Cathedral Evening Mass Band. They were joined by musicians from the Evening Mass Band and others from various parishes in Kuching such as EMPOWERED Ministry, forming a collaborative group.
