MIRI (Dec 7) — Over 40,000 parishioners from churches of various Christian denominations flocked to Miri City Fan this evening to be part of the 15th Miri City Christmas Parade.

Themed ‘Jesus Christ the Life and the Light of All People’, the event, hosted by the Anglican Church this year, kicked off with a praise-worship session.

Taken from the book of John, Chapter 1 verse 4, which is ‘In Him is life, and that life is the light of all mankind’, the theme emphasises on the harmony among the multiracial community of Miri City.
