SRI AMAN — The children filled the Catholic Centre with excitement as the annual Children’s Christmas Party brought joy and cheer to the parish’s youngest members. Held on a lively Saturday evening on 14 December, the celebration was a perfect blend of festive fun, meaningful traditions, and the true spirit of Christmas.
The event started with engaging games that filled the hall with laughter and camaraderie, as children formed new friendships and enjoyed the evening. A special moment came when Christmas presents were distributed, lighting up the faces of every child with delight. Adding a touch of warmth and inspiration, Fr Joseph Chai graced the celebration with his presence, delivering a heartfelt Christmas message that reminded everyone of the season’s deeper meaning—love, hope, and unity.
After the activities, families came together to enjoy a delightful potluck dinner. The spread, contributed by various families, became a festive feast symbolising the spirit of sharing and togetherness. The atmosphere was filled with joy as parents, children, and parishioners bonded over food and fellowship.
The 2024 Children’s Christmas Party was more than just a festive gathering—it was a celebration of community, faith, and the enduring joy of Christmas. Events like these continue to nurture the bonds within the parish, ensuring that the spirit of the season extends far beyond the festivities.
