Christ The King OCDS Community’s 22nd Anniversary Celebration
Christ The King OCDS community celebrated its 22nd Anniversary with a Thanksgiving Mass held at the Carmelite Chapel on 21 May 2022 at 6.00 pm, celebrated by Archbishop Simon Poh and con-celebrated by Fr Ramon Borja, SDB, together with the OCDS members and the Carmelite nuns.
The professed OCDS members also renewed their evangelical promises during the Mass as they do so yearly at Easter.
In conjunction with the milestone occasion before the Mass, Archbishop Simon Poh officiated the launch of CTK’s social media websites (YouTube channel and Facebook page), and also the launch and blessing of the Carmelite Ceremonial Scapular which is the Habit and the sign of membership of the Carmelite Order which OCDS members wear on special occasions aside from the small individual ones which Carmelites wear daily.
The community concluded the celebration with a dinner at a local restaurant with the cutting of the anniversary cake and testimonies by OCDS members.
