KUCHING — Family Bloc Rosary Mother of Mercy (Kampung Tabuan Dayak), which is under the charge of Holy Trinity Parish Kenyalang Park, held its annual house-to-house carolling from 14-19 December.
The closing of the carolling was held on 19 December in the house of Mdm Lucia Lilian where everybody enjoyed the fellowship and food preparation on a potluck basis. There were also performances by the youths.
The highlight of the event was the presentation of Christmas gifts to the 17 choir members and 49 children (boys and girls) who were always present throughout the six nights of carolling.
Chairman Dony Jalong, in his speech read by his assistant Puan Agnes Mandau, thanked Rev Fr Patrick Heng for providing the Christmas gifts as well as the parents for joining, and encouraging their children to join us.
Hopefully with God’s blessings we will have a merrier carolling in years to come.
