KUCHING — Pope Francis has designated 25 July 2021 as the “First World Day for Grandparents and the Elderly”. This celebration will take place every year on the fourth Sunday of July, close to the feast of Saints Joachim and Anne, the grandparents of Jesus.
In conjunction with the first World Day for Grandparents and the Elderly, Kuching Archbishop Simon Poh has recorded a video message to honour our grandfathers, grandmothers and the elderly who had taken care of us in our younger days.
