KEPONG — The Church of Jesus Caritas held a 24-hour Eucharistic Vigil and Adoration on October 28 to pray for the parish and the upcoming 15th General Elections.
Parish leaders, BECs, and the various ministries came together to take up slots over the 24 hours, reciting prayers like the Rosary, the Chaplet of the Divine Mercy, and Scripture reflection.
Several youth came throughout the night to stay vigil, and at times, parish priest Fr Simon Lau welcomed them into his home to rest, relax and reflect. The vigil was a great success, with Jesus in the Eucharist being the central focus.
We thank God for the leaders involved in planning and executing the vigil, and those who came to support us in prayer. Meanwhile in Kuala Lumpur, the Archdiocesan Prayer Ministry (APM) has been having Holy Hours to pray for the nation.
APM Ecclesiastical Assistant, Fr Andrew Manickam OFM Cap has been leading the prayers after Mass at the Archdiocesan Pastoral Institute chapel.
