KUCHING — EMPOWERED Ministry hosted the KAYD 2024 Prayer Night and Fellowship on Friday, 28 June at St James Room with youths from the Cathedral Parish, St Ann’s Parish, Kota Padawan, seminarians, campus students from various tertiary institutions, and young adults to pray for the coming KAYD 2024.
The night began with a Taizé Prayer session—singing Taizé chants, reflecting on the Gospel of the day, and inviting all attendees to make their petitions for the coming KAYD 2024. After the prayer, all attendees were invited for fellowship and refreshments in conjunction with the closing of the Gawai Celebration.
EMPOWERED Ministry is partnering with the Holy Spirit Parish Youth Ministry of Lundu to lead the KAYD 2024 Prayer and Liturgy Team. All are encouraged to pray for the young people in the Archdiocese of Kuching that they may grow in their relationship with God and for their preparation to join in the KAYD 2024 happening from 14–16 September at the ACCPC.
