KUCHING South East Asia Regional Director for EQUIP, Eileen Leong, accompanied by her husband Lim Fung Ming, conducted a 7-session personal growth and leadership development journey called ‘Beyond Success’ at the Archdiocesan Curia Cathedral Pastoral Centre (ACCPC) on 23-24 September 2022.

The roundtable lessons covered topics on Attitude, Personal Growth, Priorities, Relationships, Good intentions and actions, and Significance.

MISSION

EQUIP’s mission is to develop and mobilise Christian leaders within their circles of influence.

Hence, with the blessings of Archdiocese of Kuching Archbishop Simon Poh, the roundtable sessions included listening to EQUIP founder John C Maxwell sharing his faith journey in a video clip lesson on “My Most Important Relationship”. He spoke about “my relationship with God, my greatest friend”.

The 50 plus participants were later invited to train as Beyond Success facilitators so that the same methodology can be replicated beyond Kuching parishes, as an evangelisation tool.

Archbishop Simon Poh was presented with a 'surprise' 7th Episcopal Anniversary cake when he arrived at the start of the Beyond Success training, 24 September, 2022.
