KUCHING — The Holy Trinity English Sunday School marked the Rosary Month of October for the second time on 6 October 2024 with a ‘living’ Rosary celebration focusing on the Luminous Mysteries.

It was held at the Good Shepherd Hall of the Holy Trinity Parish at Kenyalang Park, Kuching. It got parents and families of the Sunday School Children involved making it visual and interactive.

The ‘living’ Rosary formation was made up of teachers and students with each representing a bead leading one prayer of the rosary associated with his or her position in the Rosary. Fr Ramon Borja, SDB began the formation with a homily. With the hall darkened, the recitation of each prayer began with a lighted electric candle until the whole rosary was lit with a chain of the lighted candle ending with a Marian Song.

Performance by the Catechists of the Good Shepherd Children.

This was followed by a performance by the Catechists of the Good Shepherd children aged 3 to 5 years old and a “Look under your seat” game. The lucky ones took home gifts. The event ended with the blessing of delicious food by the rector, Fr Eugenio Gocela Maglasang, SDB.
