KUCHING — Holy Trinity Church, Kenyalang officially reopened its doors to parishioners again on 15 August 2020 after the suspension of Masses has been lifted, in time to celebrate the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

In order to ensure the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) is fully enforced and complied with, the capacity of total parishioners attending Mass at a time is now reduced to 120 persons which saw on average only around 40 to 50 persons attending each Mass so far. Mass time for Sunset Mass in English maintains at 6.30pm (Saturday), 8.30am (Sunday) and in Chinese, 5.30pm (Sunday).

A Service Team had been formed earlier and trained according to the SOPs through several trial-run Masses with proper disinfecting of all the pews after every Mass.

Parishioners who wish to attend Mass can walk-in to register on a “first-come-first-serve” basis.
