SERIAN — Fr Lazarus Swinie has been appointed the Rector of St Theresa’s Parish, Serian taking over from Fr Leonard Yap who is now the Parish priest of Blessed Sacrament Church, BDC.
Prior to his appointment, Fr Lazarus had served five years as a Fidei Donum priest in the Miri Diocese.
The handing over and installation of Fr Lazarus by Archbishop Simon Poh took place on Sunday 29 January 2023 at the 9.00 am English/Bidayuh Mass in St Theresa’s Parish Church, Serian.
