KUCHING — Holy Trinity Church recently had a fantastic celebration on its Holy Trinity Feast Day. 4 June 2023 was a special day for the Church, and everyone came together at the Good Shepherd Hall to enjoy a potluck dinner.

Around 100 parishioners showed up and filled the atmosphere with joy and excitement. Our rector gave a speech and highlighted the importance of bringing everyone from the different Masses closer as a united community.

The evening kicked off with a beautiful prayer led by Fr Eugene, setting a peaceful and spiritual mood. We had so much fun with activities like a Q&A session called “Get to Know Your Priest” with Fr Andre, traditional dance performances that got everyone up on their feet, and uplifting group singing that filled the hall with cheerful voices.

Of course, the highlight of the night was the delicious potluck dinner. Parishioners brought their favourite dishes, and we all shared and enjoyed a variety of flavours. Laughter, conversations, and connections were made over a great meal.

As the night drew to a close, Fr Andre led a closing prayer, expressing our gratitude for the wonderful celebration and the unity we felt.

The Holy Trinity Feast Day was a reminder of the power of faith and community. It was a day of togetherness, where we celebrated as one family. Holy Trinity Church looks forward to more events that bring us closer, creating an even stronger and more welcoming community for all.
