KUCHING — EMPOWERED Ministry hosted a night of prayer and worship on Friday, 16 August at St Thomas Room, St Joseph’s Cathedral Parish dedicated to praying for the upcoming KAYD 2024, people in need, the sick, and for peace in conflicts around the world.
The night started off with a calm and interactive ice-breaking game led by the emcee, Bailey. Following this, the music team led in singing heartfelt worship songs, creating a deeply prayerful atmosphere.
The night continued with the recitation of the Rosary, followed by a period of meditation and collective intercessory prayers, where attendees lifted up their intentions. The evening concluded with a spirit of gratitude, as everyone joined in songs of thanksgiving.
