KUCHING — EMPOWERED Ministry (St Joseph’s Cathedral Parish Youth Ministry) resumed its Friday gatherings in person, starting from 2 September 2022 from 8.00 pm – 10.00 pm at the St Joseph’s Cathedral Parish Gallery.
On 2 September, EMPOWERED hosted a gathering of approximately 40 youths on the topic ‘Freedom’—Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is Freedom, 2 Corinthians 3:17. The evening started with ice-breakers and interaction where the youths got to know each other, before having a time of worship and praising God.
The youths then discussed on what it means to have freedom in Christ and also shared with one another what they are grateful for over some food. The session concluded with prayers.
EMPOWERED welcomes all youths 13 years old and above from secondary schools, university students and young working adults to join them on Friday Youth Gatherings and other upcoming programmes. Stay tuned to fb.com/empoweredkch and IG: @empoweredkch for updates!
