SIBU — On the Nativity of Blessed Virgin Mary, 8 September 2022, Bishop Joseph Hii Teck Kwong of the Diocese of Sibu inducted the Sacred Heart Cathedral Parish Pastoral Council (PPC), Parish Finance Council (PFC), Mandarin Pastoral Apostolate (MPA), Iban Pastoral Apostolate (IPA), IPA St Michael Church & Finance Committee St Michael Church Sibu Jaya.
With him for the Induction were the Sacred Heart Cathedral Parish Rector Rev Fr Philip Hu and Assistant Parish Priest Fr Raphael who con-celebrated the Mass. He thanked the people of God for giving their services, talent and time for the Parish. Like Mother Mary, they are saying Amen to the Will of God.
This special day, 8 September 2022 also marked the 12th Ordination Anniversary of the Parish Rector Fr Philip Hu. May Mother Mary continue to guide him as he leads the parishioners towards greater synodality, love and unity. Let us keep our prayer for him.
