KUCHING — On 14–17 April 2022, Chapel of Mother Mary Stutong celebrated the Easter Triduum commemorating the suffering, death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Holy Thursday
Holy Thursday 2022 was celebrated at 8.00 pm on 14 April 2022 in Bahasa Malaysia and in English.
A total number of 262 parishioners attended the Holy Mass which was celebrated by Msgr William Sabang, Rector of Chapel of Mother Mary, Stutong and concelebrated by His Grace Archbishop Emeritus Dato Sri Peter Chung and Fr Albert Jacobse.
Good Friday
Good Friday Service at the Chapel was held on 15 April 2022 in Bahasa Malaysia and in English at 3.00 pm.
An estimated number of 698 parishioners attended the Good Friday Service which was celebrated by Msgr William Sabang, Rector of Chapel of Mother Mary, Stutong and concelebrated by His Grace Archbishop Emeritus Dato Sri Peter Chung.
Holy Saturday (Easter Vigil)
Chapel of Mother Mary Stutong celebrated Holy Saturday Mass at 8.00 pm on 16 April 2022.
Holy Saturday Mass was celebrated in combined Bahasa Malaysia and English by Msgr William Sabang, Rector Chapel of Mother Mary, Stutong.
A total number of 221 parishioners attended the Holy Mass.
