On behalf of the Christian community we extend our warmest greetings to all our Buddhist brothers and sisters as they celebrate this year the auspicious WESAK DAY in their homes and places of worship on Sunday 15th May 2022.
Let this occasion of honouring the birth, enlightenment, and the life of Gautama Buddha, be indeed a joyful and memorable one for all celebrating, especially as we are easing out of the Covid-19 Pandemic related restrictions we have together experienced over the last two years.
As faith communities, let us continue to work together to enhance friendship and goodwill amongst all Malaysians, who desire peace and prosperity for our beloved Nation, Malaysia, and all its people.
