BATU KITANG — With the recent EMCO imposed on Kampong Bumbok, the Catholic Church of Mary, Mother of God, has offered the use of the Church and its compound as a swab test centre for the whole community. Additional canopies have been erected to supplement the front covered porch of the Church.
The Catholic Church of Mary, Mother of God is encouraging the Catholic Community in the village to follow the Sunday live-stream Masses from St Joseph’s Cathedral, Kuching. The Church is also presently looking into providing food baskets for families in need there.
