KUCHING — This year, Catechetical Sunday was celebrated on 19 January with the theme “Seek, Know, Share Christ.” Essentially, this means that one has to continuously seek Jesus Christ, develop an intimate relationship and then share Christ, especially with those who do not yet know him, but may have the desire to.

For the year 2020, the faith formators of Blessed Sacrament Church would like to encourage parishioners to be more actively involved. A short video clip of activities, past and present, of the Sunday School was screened before the English Mass started.

Fr Felix Au, in commissioning the Catechists who were Sunday School, RCIA, and Children’s Liturgy facilitators and helpers, at the same time invited the students and RCIA candidates, parents and the whole community to also make a commitment to catechesis.

Faith facilitators, past and present, who had served for ten years or more, were presented with Certificates of Appreciation. John Wong, Chairman of BFFC, received the certificates on their behalf from Fr Felix Au.
