BAU — Organised by EMPOWERED Ministry, Kuching from 27–29 October 2023 at Borneo Tribal Village, Bau, Camp EMPOWERED was attended by 102 persons. The camp was animated by an invited guest, Charles Lim, Executive Director of the Office for Catechesis in the Archdiocese of Singapore and his team. Through the input sessions and activities, the camp provided an avenue for all to encounter Christ and God showered his healing Love on all who came to Him.

After this camp, I feel grateful for being given the opportunity to know Jesus more deeply. I am grateful because every sharing and activity implemented had a great impact on me. ~Anonymous
The camp gave me the biggest change in my life… I met new ppl there, I started to know Him well, I know he is real… never experienced like this before. A big thanks to them because they let us know about Jesus, every person who prayed for me, I know it came from Jesus… thank you very much anak tuhan 🤍 I will never forget the night when I know He was there for me, He is real, He loves us… I never felt something like that, this is not my first camp but this one has changed me a lot. I was surrounded by good people there, the effect of this camp was that it really touched my heart and until today, my soul still wants to praise Jesus… I thought this feeling would disappear when I returned to the hostel, but no… it still lasts until now… praise God… thank You son of God, You changed me a lot… hope to join another camp again in the future…

Shalom. First of all, i would like to thank the organiser of Camp Empowered. Before I joined this camp, honestly speaking, I felt empty inside me. I know God was there but I was still confused if He was real or not. That was until l I joined this camp, especially during the healing prayer, was when He came to me. I was so surprised when He gave me a chance to listen to His voice and I saw Him standing there, smiling. How could I not believe it when He was really in front of my eyes. I saw light. It was Him. That really changed me. I could feel the power of God; He was there.
After the camp, I finally have the urge to talk about God in front of people, and I share about Him. I’m proud that most sekolah seni pupils slowly begin to trust Him. Thanks a lot to Camp Empowered. God bless us 🤍 ~Alicia Maria Tan, Form 5
After joining Camp Empowered, I believe that God has removed the darkness in me and replaced it with light. I never regretted my last minute decision to join this camp. It was truly an amazing choice. A very fun and fulfilling experience for me. There was one session which made me realise that God will always be there for us no matter how hard life gets. I have made friends throughout the camp, and between my teammates, we were able to share our problems in life and how God was able to touch our hearts. The games and activities made this camp even more fun! The three days went by so fast, that I felt like three days isn’t enough. I look forward to joining the next CE. I hope more people will join the camp to experience God’s love.
