SRI AMAN — On 24 November 2024, the Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) of Our Lady Queen of Peace (OLQP) Sri Aman, in collaboration with the Sri Aman Hospital Blood Unit, successfully held a blood donation programme at the Parish Catholic Centre.
The event, which ran from 9.00 am to 11.00 am, witnessed the participation of 10 generous individuals who came forward to donate blood. Their combined efforts resulted in the collection of 10 pints of blood, contributing to the critical need for blood supplies to save lives.
The PPC extended heartfelt thanks to the donors for their selflessness, and to the Sri Aman Hospital Blood Unit for their support, in facilitating the programme. Such initiatives highlight the spirit of giving and unity within the community.
This act of service underscores the parish’s mission to embody Christ’s teachings by reaching out to those in need and fostering a spirit of care and compassion among all.
