KUCHING — Kuching Archbishop Simon Poh reached another milestone in his consecrated life on 31 July 2021. It was 33 years ago to this day, that he was ordained a priest by then Archbishop (now Emeritus) Peter Chung at St Joseph’s Cathedral.
The staff at the Archbishop’s Office presented him a cake topped with a symbolic chalice with hosts. In thanking the small group gathered at the ACCPC hallway, Archbishop Simon said that the number ‘33’ reminded him of Jesus’ life on earth.
