SERIAN — The St Theresa’s Parish Cemetery Maintenance Committee has appealed to the descendants and those who have burial lot bookings at the cemetery to pay for the yearly maintenance fees as soon as possible, while also thanking those who used to pay regularly.
Letters of appeal had been sent to respective kampongs in the Parish hoping that they are informed.
The fees can be paid as usual to Simon Sung, Treasurer of the Committee at Chop King Thai, near the traffic light in Serian Town.
“We need the money to maintain the cemetery for it to be a pleasant place. The costs of workmanship and materials are increasing tremendously nowadays,” said Simon.
