KUCHING — On 22 December 2024, the Blessed Sacrament Church Hall in BDC, Kuching came alive with the spirit of Christmas as it hosted its annual Children’s Christmas Party. The event, jointly organised by the Blessed Sacrament Church Chinese Children’s Liturgy and Chinese Sunday School, saw an enthusiastic participation of 70 children as well as 26 teachers and assistants.
The celebration kicked off with a heartwarming session of Christmas carols led by the Chinese Youth Ministry and was graced by the rector Fr Leonard Yap with an opening speech and blessings. The event continued with the children enjoying a variety of delicious food and being treated to a series of wonderful performances including a Christmas dance by the Chinese Children Liturgy’s assistants. Adding to the excitement, clowns, Santa Claus and a little elf distributed gifts and candies to the children, making the celebration even more vibrant and joyful.
The event concluded on a high note with the children engaging in a joyful Christmas gift exchange, marking a perfect end to a day filled with laughter and festive cheer.
