KUCHING — St Joseph’s Family of Schools is restaging the play, “A Story of Ours: Us and Them” on 29 and 30 September 2023 at the ACCPC (Archdiocesan Curia and Cathedral Pastoral Centre), St Joseph’s Cathedral Kuching.
First staged in 2016 by St Joseph’s Private Secondary School’s Drama Club, the play has been reinterpreted and readapted to include our local stories and current affairs. Laced with light-hearted humour, songs and dances that feature the performances of the three schools, the upcoming production will be more vibrant and engaging.
During this post-pandemic time with increasing social and political polarisations, this play challenges us and helps us to reflect on the question, “Who are our neighbours?”, a point that lies at the heart of Jesus’s parable of the Good Samaritan.
All proceeds from the production will go towards the building of a new school block. Tickets for “A Story of Ours: Us and Them” will be sold from 2 August onwards.
