MANILA, Philippines – The Covenant Communities (CC) from Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, China, India, the Philippines in Asia region under the Catholic Fraternity of Charismatic Covenant Communities And Fellowships gathered in Manila from 20-23 October for the 7th Asian Conference with the theme ‘Towards a more Empowered Community’.
The Malaysian delegates were from the Bread of Life CC, Kuching, The Light of Jesus Christ CC, Kota Kinabalu and Servants of Yahweh CC, Kuala Lumpur. The Conference concluded with the declaration that the Asian member-communities of the Catholic Fraternity contribute to the plurality of our expressions and varied gifts for the service of the Mother Church. Five delegates represented the Bread of Life Covenant Community lead by its Spiritual Director, Rev Fr Augustine Jepy and the Presiding Elder, Bro Allan.
