KUCHING — On 22 December 2019, the Chinese Children’s Liturgy Ministry and the Chinese Sunday School Ministry of Blessed Sacrament Church jointly organised a Christmas party that took place right after the Chinese Mass at the Church hall.
A total of 146 parishioners registered for the party.
The Chairman of the Chinese Liaison Committee, Mr William Ting was invited to give a short speech and grace before meal. This was followed by breakfast fellowship with all participants.
This is the season to be jolly and Christmas carols were sung with live music performed by the young members of the Chinese Children’s Liturgy Ministry.
Besides that, this joyful event was packed with fun-filled activities such as DIY Christmas hat handicraft session, spelling out the meaning of Christmas through the story about ‘sharing is caring’, Christmas dance performance, magic show which gave the participants a taste of ‘white Christmas’ in the hall, and exciting games.
The party concluded with the exchanging of Christmas gifts among the participants. In addition to that, each participant also received a door gift.
