KUCHING — It is Christmas time again and as one of its annual activities of the year, St Peter’s Parish held its Children’s Christmas party on Sunday, 22 December at their outpost branch, Our Lady Star of the Sea Church.
300 parishioners and 170 children attended the function and were entertained with games by the clown and received presents from Santa Claus. Two (2) pregnant mothers were surprisingly happy to receive a hamper each as well.
Those present were also treated to local and western delicacies some of which were brought in by parishioners in the spirit of giving and sharing on this festive Christmas.
The Rector of St Peter’s Parish, Fr Vincent Chin also graced the occasion together with his Parish councillors.
