KUCHING — Symbolon – “The Catholic Faith Explained” opens up the ‘big picture’ of the Catholic faith in a way that helps us know it, live it and articulate it to others.
Part 1 of Symbolon helps us to journey through the core teachings of the Catholic Church with the goal of knowing the Faith.
On 3 September, 140 participants attended the commencement of Part 1 of Symbolon with the 1st episode entitled ‘The Journey of Faith’ at St Peter’s Parish.
An intercessory prayer was held at 6.45 pm after which the session started at 7.30 pm with praise and worship followed by video and group discussion and sharing. 12 discussion groups participated on the opening night.
Part 1 consists of 10 episodes which also include ‘Mary and The Saints’ and ‘The Last Things’.
The Symbolon Part 1 sessions for this year run from 3 September to 5 November and are held on every Tuesday from 7.30 pm – 9.30 pm at St Peter’s Church, Parish Hall.
