SERIAN — About a thousand people from far and nearby places poured in to celebrate the 5:30pm Corpus Christi Mass at St. Luke’s Church, Kampung Sangai Empani on 23 June.
Fr. Raj holding the Corpus Christi monstrance, led the procession from the church after the Mass, stopping at Kampung Sangai Empani community hall to recite the Rosary.
After reciting the Rosary, the procession continued to Kampung Sangai Mawang community hall for the chaplet of the Devine Mercy prayers.
The procession continued to St. John Bosco Church at Kampung Sangai Mawang for adoration to complete the holy celebration.
A fellowship dinner was held at Kampung Sangai Mawang community hall.
Those who attended the auspicious holy celebration including Rector of St Theresa’s Parish, Fr. Paul Herry, Fr. Raj, Communion Ministers, Catechists, Prayer Leaders, members of the Parish Pastoral Council and other lay organisations, Church committee leaders and members of the local community.
