KUCHING — On 13 January 2025, the La Verna Formation Centre—the formation house for Postulants and Novices, the SSFS’ initial formation—marked its temporary relocation with a special Mass. The centre moved from its previous location at 239, Lot 347, Jalan Batu Kawa, Kuching, to its new temporary location at No 7, Jalan Pisang Selatan, Kuching.
Archbishop Simon Poh presided over the Mass, blessing the new location and offering prayers for the continued success of the formation programme.
In his homily, Archbishop Poh offered words of encouragement and support to the postulants and novices, emphasising the importance of their spiritual journey.
After the Mass, all were invited for the fellowship to celebrate the transition and welcome to the new centre.
