KUCHING — In a spirit of unity and harmony, the Association of Churches in Sarawak (ACS) organised a Christmas High Tea on 21 December at the Christian Ecumenical Worship Centre (CEWC). It was graced by Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar and his wife Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi.
ACS Chairman, Anglican Bishop of Kuching Datuk Danald Jute said politicians play an important role as builders of unity for a more united Malaysia and called for continuous peace and harmony in the state.
Tun Pehin Wan Junaidi and Toh Puan Fauziah also presented Christmas gifts to residents from the Salvation Army and Sarawak Society for the Blind.
