SIBU — The Sacred Heart Cathedral Thanksgiving Dinner this year was celebrated at Sacred Heart Centenary Hall on Friday, 25 October 2024. The event was attended by more than 1,000 parishioners of Sacred Heart Cathedral.
Representatives of brothers and sisters from Sarikei, Pakan, Kanowit, Selangau, Kapit, RPPK, St Teresa’s parish and St Mary’s parish also attended the dinner.
It was a joyful night filled with performances of dance and music as the people of God gathered to give thanks for His guidance and blessings as they journeyed together in synodality.
The event also celebrated the 25th Silver Jubilee Anniversary of the priestly ordination of Fr Edward Raymond, assistant priest of Sacred Heart Cathedral, and the 39th anniversary of the dedication of Sacred Heart Cathedral.
