BAU — As part of St Stephen’s Church parish activities, the church leaders organised a Teacher’s Day celebration on 3 May 2019 with a Mass celebrated by Church Rector, Fr John Chong. About 50 faithful attended the small gathering after Mass.
St Stephen’s Church also welcomed newly ordained priest Fr John Direk when he celebrated his first Mass there on 4 May 2019, with a thanksgiving lunch in conjunction with his priestly ordination on 1 May at St Joseph’s Cathedral.
Fr John Direk then went on to celebrate Sunday Mass in St Henry’s Church Apar, in his kampong on 5 May.
Also, as part of their outdoor activities, on 4 May 2019, about 200 members and families from Our Lady of Visitation Curia, Serembu, from the Legion of Mary, travelled by bus and cars to Sematan village for a day’s outing.
