KUCHING — The Rector’s Office of St Joseph’s Cathedral together with its Parish Pastoral Council, organised a private Farewell cum Welcome Dinner on Monday, 8 July 2024 at the Sarawak Club to bid farewell to Fr Galvin Richard Ngumbang who left for the Philippines on 10 July to pursue his Licentiate in Canon Law.
The Parish staff and Councillors present also took the opportunity to warmly welcome Fr Davie Entalai who was appointed to the Cathedral Parish on 1 July to replace Fr Galvin.
Among the invited guests present at the dinner were Archbishop Simon Poh, Archbishop Emeritus John Ha, several priests and religious together with Fr Galvin’s mother (Mdm Iris Ulat Pasa) and some family members.
