Thanksgiving dance performance by Youth Ministry

During the Mass, a traditional dance was performed by the Youth Ministry as an expression of gratitude for the occasion. Fr Felix took the opportunity to wish everyone a blessed Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and a Happy Gawai Dayak.

In his address, Fr Felix stated, “In this celebration, we give thanks to Jesus Christ for his love. Our Parish is named in honour of the love of God, The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. We also receive abundant blessings from God, for which we should be grateful. We are thankful for the PPC members who are willing to serve in this parish for the betterment of the community. These leaders must show strong commitment and serve wholeheartedly. This is the concrete way to love God and the Church. When you serve with generosity, you will also be blessed by the Lord.”

He also expressed gratitude to Archbishop Simon Poh for his grace and prayers, despite his absence from the celebration.

“Thank you, Vicar General Msgr William Sabang, for celebrating the Mass with the Sacred Heart community on the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus,” he added.
