BAU — A total of 51 newly elected parish pastoral councillors headed by chairman David Disam took the oath as council members during a Mass presided by Archbishop Simon Poh on 4 June 2024.
In his homily, Archbishop Simon reminded the council members of their responsibilities in assisting and advising the rector for the welfare of the parish and people. He called on the congregation to always support and pray for council members to serve as Christ did.
Also present during the Mass were parish rector Fr Peter Liston, Fr Augustine Jepy, Fr Paul Herry, Fr John Chong and visiting priest Fr Josef Schmolzer MHM, fondly known as Fr Sepp.
