LUNDU — The ‘New Sunday School Teacher’s formation’ at Holy Spirit Church on 9 March 2024 was attended by 49 participants. The course was meant to form new Sunday School teachers for the parish.
Inputs were given by the parish Rector Fr Adrian Kho and Catechist Pearson. Participants were introduced to the Malaysia Catechetical Syllabus which covered methodology of using the syllabus, actual-teaching simulation and practical issues affecting Sunday Schools.
A personal sharing was also given by a teacher, Mdm Ra Flora on her personal views regarding the syllabus and also methodologies that she had adopted to improve the learning experience of students.
The formation session ended with the celebration of Holy Mass with all the participants.
