KUCHING — The Archdiocesan Council of Kuching, Society of St Vincent de Paul organised a briefing on 13 January 2024 regarding the welfare services provided by the government and its relevant guidelines. It was presented by the invited guest, Puan Rohana Binti Isnawi from the Social Welfare Department of Sarawak.
The briefing, which was held at St Joseph’s Parish Centre, was graced by Kuching Archbishop Simon Poh. It also received active participation from various ministries and organisations besides the Society of St Vincent de Paul, including the Catholic Welfare Services, Divine Mercy Apostolate, Migrant Ministry, GROWTH Ministry and St Joseph Cathedral’s Counselling Centre.
Through the detailed and interactive session, the attendees had a fruitful learning and gained better knowledge so as to be able to serve in their respective work more efficiently, when helping the poor and needy.
