KUCHING — Fr Larry Tan, SJ, a much loved Jesuit Priest who served at St Joseph’s Cathedral Parish for the past 10 years, has left Kuching to take up his new post as Spiritual Director at the College General Major Seminary in Penang.
Since his arrival in Kuching in 2012, he has been a familiar figure to the residents of Laman Sun Valley, particularly the Catholic families who initially accepted Fr Larry and his fellow Jesuits’ invitation to attend Saturday morning Masses at Bellarmine House, the Jesuits’ Centre in Kuching, and continued to do so ever since.
This neighbourhood community in Laman Sun Valley is very grateful to Fr Larry for his care and spiritual guidance over the years and wish him all the best in his new mission in Penang.
