KOTA SENTOSA — The Sacred Heart Church has recently established a Legion of Mary comprised of eight members, with Sr Susan Dulang, SSFS as the Spiritual Director. The group held its first meeting on 26 October 2023, in which the Legion decided unanimously to honour Our Mother with the title, “Our Lady of Sacred Heart” (OLOSH). Parish Rector Fr Felix Au and Rev Fr Paul Hu, CDD, were also present to witness the formation.
The essential aim of the Legion of Mary is the sanctification of its members through prayer, the sacraments and devotion to Mary and the Trinity, and of the whole world through the apostolate of the Legion.
President of the Praesidium, Brother Desmond Ajat, is very optimistic about the future of the Legion of Mary at Sacred Heart. He thanks the President of Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Praesidium, St Ann, Kota Padawan, Brother Johnny Lim, for guiding us all through the process of the Praesidium and the Apostolic Work.
Our Lady of Sacred Heart Praesidium will have their weekly meeting on every Monday, 7.30 pm to 9.00 pm, after daily Mass.
