KUCHING — On 10 September, a total of 17 students from St Peter’s Church Padungan’s Faith Formation class received the Sacrament of Confirmation. It was an eight months’ long journey which also included a very educational and eye-opening trip to the ACCPC History Gallery.
The Mass was celebrated by Archbishop Simon Poh and concelebrated by parish Rector Fr Vincent Chin.
In his homily, Archbishop Simon reminded the students that like a ‘chop’ (as we say in Malaysia), the Sacrament of Confirmation acts as a stamp to forever seal us so we would always and forever belong to God.
