KUCHING — At St Peter’s Church, Padungan on 3 September 2023, 11 children embarked on a significant step in their faith journey as they received their first Holy Communion.
The Sunday School Faith Formators together with the congregation gathered with hearts full of gratitude, giving thanks to our Heavenly Father for the commitment of devoted parents who have placed their children’s faith formation at the forefront of their lives.
The Sunday morning Mass was presided by parish Rector, Fr Vincent Chin who is always inspiring and supporting our endeavours in nurturing the faith of our children. In his homily, he shared a profound message—a reminder that God’s presence is steadfast and that He will never forsake us. He lovingly encouraged the young communicants to walk in the footsteps of Jesus, guiding them on their spiritual journey.
