SERIAN — The Cemetery Management Committee of the St Theresa’s Parish Pastoral Council is appealing the parishioners whose family members and relatives are buried in the church cemetery to submit their annual contribution at the soonest in view of All Souls’ Day which falls on 2 November.
Simon Sung, the Treasurer for the Committee also urged those in the list of booking the lots to make their annual contribution soon.
Contribution can be made directly to him at Chop King That which is located near the traffic lights at Serian Bazaar. He said that the list of contributors shall be displayed on the notice board in the church for information.
Simon Sung stated that the Committee needs the fund badly to enable them to carry out the maintenance works to provide a good place for those who visit the cemetery, as well as to upkeep the place for those who are resting in peace there.
