LUNDU — A weekend Marriage Enrichment Experience programme was conducted at Holy Spirit Church by the BM MEE group from Kuching, led by Msgr William Sabang. 20 couples participated in the three days’ sessions from 11-13 November 2022.
Various couples helping out with the programme gave ‘very honest and courageous’ sharings. There after, participants were given time to pray and reflect together, their own relationships.
As part of the programme, participants were also required to write letters to their spouses, which were given to them to read before the reconciliation ceremony, held on the last day of the course. The 20 couples then ‘renewed’ their marriage vows before the evening Mass.
A dinner celebration capped the weekend programme, with participants joined by members of their own families, who were also invited to join the reception.
